Ghaleb Hawila, born in 1992 in Borj el Chemali, Tyre, Lebanon, is a renowned Arabic calligraphy artist. Initially studying Graphic Design, he later trained in the classical art of Arabic calligraphy under acclaimed masters.
Hawila is captivated by the limitless possibilities of calligraphy and approaches it with a fresh perspective. His work is deeply rooted in Middle Eastern heritage, spiritual exploration, and a continuous search for origin, cause, and effect. His piece "Nuqta" was featured in the 8th edition of The Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial in 2018 and later at the French Institute in Beirut in 2020.
Hawila's street art spans the UK and Beirut, and he has participated in numerous collective exhibitions globally.
